Waiting On Wednesday: A Million Suns

"Waiting On Wednesday" is a weekly event, hosted by Jill from Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

My selection for this week's pre-publication "can't-wait-to-read" selection is: A Million Suns by Beth Revis.

I have two reasons for this: 1) I really enjoyed the first book and I can't wait to see what Amy and Elder are up to in this one and one of her crit. partners is also one of mine and she says this book is awesome.  How can you get a better rec than that?!  Amiright?  and 2)  Because I keep getting told I look a lot like her.  Since I think she's very pretty, I'll take that as a compliment.  I hope I'll be able to meet her in person one day and verify it for myself.  :D

Godspeed was once fueled by lies. Now it is ruled by chaos.

It’s been three months since Amy was unplugged. The life she always knew is over. And everywhere she looks, she sees the walls of the spaceship Godspeed. But there may just be hope: Elder has assumed leadership of the ship. He’s finally free to enact his vision – no more Phydus, no more lies.

But when Elder discovers shocking news about the ship, he and Amy race to discover the truth behind life on Godspeed. They must work together to unlock a puzzle that was set in motion hundreds of years earlier, unable to fight the romance that’s growing between them and the chaos that threatens to tear them apart.

In book two of the Across the Universe trilogy, New York Times bestselling author Beth Revis mesmerizes us again with a brilliantly crafted mystery filled with action, suspense, romance, and deep philosophical questions. And this time it all builds to one mind-bending conclusion: They have to get off this ship.
And, as a continuation to my crit partner post last Monday, I've posted on the Oasis about where to find crit partners.
